Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Carlo Marino, DDS began his undergraduate studies at the University of Toledo. In 1990, at The Ohio State University, he earned his DDS degree and met his future wife Angela, also a dentist. Following dental school, he completed his general practice residency at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Marino has proudly been recognized 5 years in a row as the #1 Dentist by readers of Akron Beacon Journal for the annual Best of the Best award. As the owner of Dr. Marino & Associates for nearly 26 years, he feels everyone has the right to quality dental care. He has devoted his career to extensive advanced continuing education in implant placement & restoration for over 20 years and has placed in excess of 7000 dental implants. Additionally, Dr. Marino is a member of the lecture team and Advisory Board for Thommen Medical, a world leader in implant fabrication using Swiss technology. Dr. Marino and our board-certified oral surgeons offer procedures that replace “all” of the teeth in either the upper or the lower jaw using supported by 4, 5 or sometimes 6 dental implants.  Dr. Marino exclusively uses Chrome technology with Roe Dental lab, a leader in implant lab technology.  He takes pride in ensuring all of his locations have a stellar staff and practitioners to provide the same level of care he deems necessary to serve surrounding communities properly. All office locations are state of the art with digital radiography, Cone Beam scanners, and full OSHA & HIPPA compliance.

In his free time Carlo Marino, DDS enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, Michael, Steven, and Anthony.  Michael will graduate in 2022 from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Favorite pastimes include saltwater fishing, boating, and traveling.

Born in Queens, N.Y., Dikran Kirilescu, DDS grew up in San Diego, CA and St. Lauderdale, FL. He was honored and privileged to serve our country in the United States Army as a M.O.S. Combat Engineer. From this developed growth and self-motivation he began his life dream to become a dentist and began his dental education in Iasi, Romania. He continued to Northside Medical Center as Chief Resident in Youngstown, Ohio. He has invested additional time in advanced coursework for placement and restoration of dental implants with Thommen Medical. Dikran Kirilescu, DDS was also recognized as one of Beacon’s Best Dentists. He feels privileged to make a difference in his patient’s lives by providing them with excellent and compassionate care using his extensive dental knowledge, experience and artistic skill.

Professional memberships include the Corydon Palmer Dental Society, Northeast Ohio Sealant Program for underprivileged children, Western Reserve Care System Annual Research award recipient, and participation in the Balkan Medical Days of Romania.

Outside of the office Dikran Kirilescu, DDS enjoys spending time with his wife of 15 years, Alina and their two sons. Favorite pastimes are hiking, fishing and traveling.

Terrence Chung, DDS has been practicing dentistry for over 21 years and has proudly been recognized as one of Beacon’s Best Dentists. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992 and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Michigan in 1996. Upon graduating he did a one year dental residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center in Cleveland,Ohio. At MetroHealth he gained additional experience treating a wide range of patients, many with compromised medical conditions. Terrence Chung, DDS has been with Dr. Marino & Associates since 2003. While Dr Chung enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has invested additional time in advanced coursework for placement and restoration of dental implants with Thommen Medical. Terrence Chung, DDS continues to keep up with the latest in dental technology and is motivated in providing good quality dental care to all his patients.

Terrence Chung, DDS currently resides in Fairlawn, Ohio. His hobbies are walks in parks, bicycling, listening to music, reading books, and picnicking.

Angela Marino, DDS is a general dentist practicing in the Greater Cleveland-Akron area since 1991. In 2019 she was honored to be selected by her peers as a TopDentist in Cleveland Magazine and in Akron Life Magazine for 2020. Her education began at Capital University in Columbus, OH, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was admitted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She earned her dental degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she met her future husband Carlo. After completion of her Dental Residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center, Angela Marino, DDS began her private practice career. The practice maintains consistent focus on keeping current with the latest technologies and innovations in the field of dentistry.

As an honor student and scholar recipient, Dr. Mandana Mozayeni studied dentistry at The Ohio State University. She later traveled to Cleveland to attend Case Western Reserve University to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She remained at Case Western Reserve University three additional years to earn a Master of Science in Dentistry with a specialization in Orthodontics.
Dr. Mozayeni is a current, proud member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Great Lake Association of Orthodontics, and the Cleveland Dental Society. During her career she has authored numerous publications in prestigious scientific journals with many research affiliations. Additionally, she speaks fluent French, Persian and German.

We are proud to add Dr. Mozayeni to our team of specialists at Dr. Marino & Associates. Her extensive expertise in the field of orthodontics provides our patients the convenience of having a wide range of orthodontic services all under one roof at our State Valley Dental location in Cuyahoga Falls.

In her spare time Dr. Mozayeni enjoys traveling, ballroom dancing, and cooking. She enjoys staying active with skiing, swimming, horseback riding, running and yoga. When her schedule allows she loves visiting and spending time with her daughter, Taraneh in Boston.

An onsite dental lab also means that we can offer our patients a quicker turnaround time and more efficient repairs in case of damage or breakage of dental appliances.

Supervised and managed by our head technician, Dani Marino, our onsite dental lab team is comprised of highly skilled professionals with years of experience in the fabrication and customization of a complete range of dental prosthetics as well as other appliances.
